Material handler

Description

We are currently looking for an EVENING handler.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare orders for shipment according to purchase orders;
2. Check the quantities in the boxes according to the order form;
3. Pack orders for shipment using the packing machine;
4. Weigh and measure the order;
5. Prepare delivery notes and customs forms or bills of lading;
6. Check and load the material to be shipped into the trucks;
7. Route purchase orders to the planning department;
8. Occasionally, receive the goods;
9. Check the goods with the invoice;
10. Wrap the received goods using the laminator;
11. Enter or modify storage tickets in the computer system;
12. Route incoming supplies to the appropriate departments;
13. Weigh the waste and record the weight and date on the coupons for the departments concerned;
14. Place empty boxes in appropriate locations;
15. Issue complaint forms as needed when merchandise is returned;
16. Verify product inventory and complete inventory report;
17. Performs all other job related duties;
18. Apply the 5S concepts;
19. Comply with safety regulations, work methods and instructions and the quality control plan.

Requirements

• Pass the forklift test at 75%.
• Be able to work in a team
• Be physically fit to lift weights

Inspector

Description

We are looking for an inspector to fill our night shift. Your job is to inspect the finished product, classify it according to quality criteria and put it in boxes or on racks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Thread the winding machine correctly;
2. Adjust the guides at the start and as needed;
3. Check the specification sheet for each product to be inspected;
4. Inspect and cut material with defects and seal, if necessary, to customer specifications;
5. Complete the inspection and cutting reason form;
6. Classify second quality material, if necessary, and complete forms;
7. Print the labels according to the specification sheet and put them in the appropriate places;
8. Check that the number of rolls per box corresponds to the order form;
9. Performs all other job related duties;
10. Apply the 5S concepts;
11. Comply with safety regulations, work methods and instructions and the quality control plan.

REQUIREMENTS

Pass the color test with an A every two years

Loom Operator

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Loom Operator has the following responsibilities:

• Change the spools (20lbs) that feed the looms
• Pass the thread through the blades to obtain a given pattern.
• Threading the loom according to the type of loom (5 types of looms).
• Conduct surveillance patrol for approximately 20 trades to ensure product quality.
• Change the hands of the looms.
• Change the weft of the trades.
• Make adjustments to the springs to eliminate defects on the safety strap.

REQUIREMENTS

• Have patience and observation
• Have good manual dexterity to handle small tools and parts.
• Have a good capacity to learn.
